Grossman and "The u"

OK, so Grossman had a good game. that does not mean I feel good about what he will do for the Bears the rest of the year.

And yes, Hester is a god - best thing to come from "The u" in a long time, other than a good joke about criminal behavior...

Seriously, "The u", I get that there are U's on the helmets, but come on, about the dumbest self imposed nickname in all of sport.

And to hear people like Michael Irvin constantly go on about "The u" and the players from there, I just want to vomit. Who was the genious that put a U on the helmet to begin with - couldn't they put the bird on the helmet (no, not the one that opposing fans use, the ibis)?

Go down the list: Winslow, Shockey, Irvin, Sapp - do mouthier players exist?

Yes, they have history - if you started counting in the 80's - but get over it and yourselves.
